    The Regatta Committee would like to Thank You for being part of the 2026 Reading Amateur Regatta!

    The weekend racing programme was full with around 190 races on both Saturday and Sunday. The weather was excellent contributing to some very good racing on both days.
    All Regatta results are available on the Results Page. Further you will find pictures of the Winners in the Winners Picture Gallery. You can still download a copy of the Reading Amateur Regatta Souvenir Programme.

    The Regatta cannot run without the army of volunteers who allow all the amazing athletes to shine on our stretch of the River Thames, thank you all!

    The Committee of Reading Amateur Regatta 2026

    Information

    The Reading Amateur Regatta brings fast, side‑by‑side racing to the Thames in Reading. Join us on Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th June 2026. Racing runs downstream on a buoyed two‑lane course - 1500m on Saturday, 1000m on Sunday.
    It is also a brilliant day out for spectators, with a beautiful riverside view and plenty of space for picnics. Find all information on the Info page.

    Events & Entry Information

    The Regatta will be featuring a range of events for experienced rowers, junior rowers & masters. Every year the Regatta also welcomes international crews.

    Rules for Competitors

    The Regatta Rules & Navigation Instructions are listed on the Rules Page.
    Competitors & Coxes MUST familiarise themselves with these rules, failure to observe the rules may result in disqualificaiton!

    The Draw

    The Draw will be published on the Tuesday prior to the Regatta weekend. Subsequently the draw may be changed (updates will be published on this site). You must confirm your racing times on the day during registration.

    Regatta Results

    The Regatta results will be published live on this website! After each race, the database is updated and results can be viewed in the results tables and draw diagrams.

    Regatta History

    The Regatta was first held in 1842 and will celebrate its 185th anniversary in 2027!
