Regatta Location & Parking
The Reading Amateur Regatta is held on the river Thames, along the Thames promenade, next to Caversham Bridge in Reading.
ACCESS to CAR & TRAILER PARK: The access route is from Thames Side Promenade (off Richfield Ave) through the car park behind Reading Rowing Club. (Please note: there is no access to the Regatta Site for any vehicle through the Rivermead Leisure Complex).
PARKING CHARGES will be £6 per vehicle per day, or £10 for the weekend. Payment for parking is cashless (Card/Phone) only.
GATE OPENING TIMES: From 7.00am on Saturday and Sunday mornings, closing 2 hours after the last scheduled race of the day.
TRAILERS:
- Form: For Clubs/Schools bringing a trailer and/or team bus, please help the parking team by filling out a short google parking form to advise on arrival & departure times.
- Out of hours: The Regatta Site will be open for trailer parking on Friday afternoon: from 1.00pm to 3.00pm and from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Access outside of these times will only be permitted in exceptional circumstances after prior agreement from the Regatta Site Manager (07404 671243).
- Overnight: Trailers may be left on site overnight and may be left on site until midday on Monday, however this will be at the owner's risk.
